Mahesh, an outstanding Sri Lanka tour guide - professional, knowledgeable and friendly, We recently returned from an incredible holiday in Sri Lanka, and our experience was made even more special by our fantastic tour guide and driver, Mahesh. From the moment we were picked up it was obvious that we were in great hands. Mahesh was not only knowledgeable about Sri Lanka's history, culture, natural beauty and had a special interest in the local flora, but he was friendly and ready to accommodate us and our needs. He was always eager to answer our many questions and went above and beyond to make our experiences relevant and interesting. Mahesh navigated the sometimes windy, misty roads with ease and we always felt safe with his driving. He was punctual, professional and always patient and flexible with our schedule. We also had the great pleasure of meeting his family. We were warmly welcomed into his home, enjoying the company of his two young children, wife and father. One of our group celebrated a birthday while we were away. He organised a surprise on arrival at the hotel, birthday cake and even gave her a gift. A birthday that she will never forget. Best driver/guide ever, Wanted to explore Sri Lanka at our own pace(not as a big tour) & was recommended Mahesh as a driver/guide. We were a bit apprehensive beforehand but it was the best decision we made. Mahesh was fantastic! His communication was great before the trip in helping to make an itinerary, accommodation suggestions & time needed in each place. Mahesh was professional,knowledgeable,friendly, punctual,clean,honest,safe & kind. His English is very good & nothing was too much trouble.
